Information we collect from you

What will we collect?

To create an account on Revfin, you are required to provide us with basic information as part of our Customer identification process and you agree to our User Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, which governs how we treat your information. We will ask your for certain personal and financial information like your name, address, date of birth, PAN no., bank statements, pay slips, etc. We will also collect credit related information that is collected from other sources like the credit bureau. In addition, we will also collect your social data (from facebook and linkedin) as well as information from your mobile phone (call logs, sms logs, contact details etc.). Apart from this we might collect information from you electronically - like the pages viewed, how you navigate through the website and interact with webpages, etc. We will also collect the following types of banking information from you – credit/debit card details such as the first six or the last four digits of your card number, wallet information (if you have a wallet with us), card details for quick purchase where you have selected the preference of letting us store information. However for the avoidance of doubt we would like to clarify that we do not store or process information necessary to make online payments such as all the digits of a credit card number/bank account number, CVV numbers, one time PIN numbers and similar payment authentication information. However, do note that such information may be collected, stored and used by the payment gateway service provider you choose to complete your transaction with. All such information will be subject to and processed in accordance with the payment gateway service provider’s terms and conditions

Revfin App and website is intended for users ages 18 and older only. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from individuals that we know to be under the age of 18. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from an individual under the age of 18.

Consent:

Revfin and its associated third party tools shall obtain your consent before collecting personal information for providing Services. Personal information for purposes of this Policy means information that identifies you, such as your Name, Contacts, Apps, Device Information, calendar , SMS, Call Logs and other as specified in the Policy. All or any personal information so provided will be as and on basis and Revfin shall not be responsible for the authenticity of the personal information supplied by you. You will be solely responsible for the authenticity of the personal information provided by you for the purposes connected with the terms of use which has been agreed by you to provide various services by Revfin App. You have the option not to provide or agree to the collection of personal information. If you choose not to agree with the policy, you will not be entitled to use the Services as per the terms of use. You can also anytime withdraw the consent you provided by emailing at care@revfin.in and making a request for termination of the services agreed as per the terms of use.

The information we collect about you will depend on the products and services we offer. If you do not allow us to collect all the information we request, we may not be able to deliver all of these services effectively. Revfin will limit the collection and use of your information only on a need-to-know basis to deliver better service

You authorise Revfin to exchange, share, part with all information related to the details and transaction history of the Customers to its Affiliates / banks / financial institutions / credit bureaus / agencies/participation in any telecommunication or electronic clearing network as may be required by law, customary practice, credit reporting, statistical analysis and credit scoring, verification or risk management and shall not hold Revfin liable for use or disclosure of this information.

What do we do with the information collected?

We will use this information to establish identity and assess applications, design our products, manage our relationship with you, offer our products and services, manage our risks including the risk of fraud, get in touch with you, improve our business for us and our customer, comply with country laws and inform you about other products or services we think you might find of some use. Revfin needs this minimal information to operate and provide various services. Revfin App uses and discloses your personal information only as follows: -to fulfill your requests for products and services offered and subscribed and accepted by you -to deliver to you any administrative notices, alerts, advice and communications relevant to your use of the Service -share your information with their group companies and other third parties so far as required for joint marketing purposes and / or to similar services to provide you with various value added services -for market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity; -to third- party contractors that provide services to Revfin and are bound by these same privacy restrictions. We may also collect and use this information in other ways permitted by law.

Revfin may use and share the information provided by you with its Affiliates and third parties for providing services and any service-related activities such as collecting subscription fees for such services, and notifying or contacting you regarding any problem with, or the expiration of, such services. In this regard, it may be necessary to disclose the customer information to one or more agents and contractors of Revfin and their sub-contractors, but such agents, contractors, and sub-contractors will be required to agree to use the information obtained from Revfin only for these purposes. We will take utmost care to ensure that your personal information is not shared with the public and that your transactions on the Revfin App and website are confidential. If we use any third parties for any of these transactions we will also make sure that confidentiality is maintained. Revfin endeavours to safeguard and ensure the security of the information provided by you. When the information provided by you is not transmitted through this encryption, your system (if configured accordingly) will display an appropriate message ensuring the best level of secrecy for information.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that a website stores on your computer. We will use cookies on our website similar to other lending websites and online marketplace websites. Use of this information helps us identify you in order to make our web portal more user friendly. We might also use this information to display advertising from third party companies. Phishing

“Phishing" usually occurs when users of a website are induced by an individual/entity into divulging sensitive personal data by using fraudulent websites and/ or e-mail addresses. In the event you provide information to a website or respond to an e-mail which does not belong to us or is not connected with us in any manner, you will be a victim of Phishing. We do not send e-mails requesting a user for payment information, user name or passwords. However, we may verify the user name, password etc. provided by you from time to time.

Review and making changes to personal information

You can request and we shall correct errors in your Personal Information by emailing us at care@revfin.in. If you want to obtain a copy of your information, for your protection, you will be required to provide proof of your identity to obtain a copy of your Personal Information. If your Personal Information changes or if you no longer want to use Services of care@revfin.in, you may correct, update or deactivate your Personal Information and/or your account through the account management screen. If you would like to deactivate or terminate your account you can also contact care@revfin.in.

General

The accuracy and confidentiality of the information as provided by you is your responsibility. You are also responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords, email address and other account details at all times. We recommend a strong password that you do not use with other services. To make the password complex and difficult for others to guess, you should use combination of alphabets, numbers and special characters (like !, @, #, $ etc.). Under no circumstances should you undertake to disclose your password to anyone or keep any written or other record of the password such that a third party could access it.

Disclosure

The information you provide may be disclosed by us to our agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates, or to other third party service providers of Revfin who require the information for the purposes of operating and maintaining Revfin’s platform for the provision of services.

We will comply with requests and directions of all governmental, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities, which it believes in good faith to be in accordance with any applicable law. Such compliance may include providing user information whether it is personally identifiable information or not, to such agency or authority. Revfin may transfer sensitive personal data or information to another Indian or overseas body corporate that ensures the same level of data protection that is adhered to by Revfin, if it is necessary for the performance of a lawful contract between Revfin or any person on its behalf and you or where you have consented to the data transfer. Moreover, you shall not disclose to any other person, in any manner whatsoever, any information relating to Revfin or its Affiliates of a confidential nature obtained in the course of availing the services through the website. Failure to comply with this obligation shall be deemed a serious breach of the terms herein and shall entitle Revfin or its Affiliates to terminate the services, without prejudice to any damages, to which you may be entitled otherwise.

Personal information of the users will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection or without the approval of the user as the case may be. However, Revfin might share, exchange and disclose information to our affiliates and / or group companies, agents or to any third-party service provider to deliver you products and services in the manner agreed by you.

To make an improvement in its business Revfin may share the personal information of a user with Credit Rating Agencies. While doing so, we will comply with all guidelines, including sharing information with Credit Rating Agencies in the event of Reserve Bank of India issuing guidelines or direction in this regard.

Privacy Commitments for Third Parties Integration in Revfin App

In the course of using this website, mobile applications or its custom extensions or availing the products and services vide the online application forms and questionnaires, Revfin and its Affiliates may become privacy to the personal information of its customers, including information that is of a confidential nature.

Revfin is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and has taken all necessary and reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of the customer information and its transmission through the world wide web and it shall not be held liable for disclosure of the confidential information when in accordance with this privacy Commitment or in terms of the agreements, if any, with the Customers.

Revfin endeavours to safeguard and ensure the security of the information provided by the Customer. Revfin uses EV SSL based encryption, for the transmission of the information, which is currently the permitted level of encryption in India. When the information provided by the Customers is not transmitted through this encryption, the Customers' system (if configured accordingly) will display an appropriate message ensuring the best level of secrecy for the Customer's information.

The Customer would be required to cooperate with Revfin in order to ensure the security of the information, and it is recommended that the Customers necessarily choose their passwords carefully such that no unauthorised access is made by a third party. To make the password complex and difficult for others to guess, the Customers should use combination of alphabets, numbers and special characters (like !, @, #, $ etc.). The Customers should undertake not to disclose their password to anyone or keep any written or other record of the password such that a third party could access it.

Revfin undertakes not to disclose the information provided by the Customers to any person, unless such action is necessary to:

Conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; Protect and defend Revfin's or its Affiliates' rights, interests or property; Enforce the terms and conditions of the products or services; or Act to protect the interests of Revfin, its Affiliates, or its members, constituents or of other persons. The Customers shall not disclose to any other person, in any manner whatsoever, any information relating to Revfin or its Affiliates of a confidential nature obtained in the course of availing the services through the website. Failure to comply with this obligation shall be deemed a serious breach of the terms herein and shall entitle Revfin or its Affiliates to terminate the services, without prejudice to any damages, to which the customer may be entitled otherwise.
